AT LAST !  Reamann has remixed a track "Tundra"by PORTAL (see www.portal.freeuk.com for full details) on the Falling EP out now on Roisin Records in gorgeous clear vinyl 7" (www.roisinrecs.demon.co.uk) and retailing (if you can find it) for a measley 3 quid. Numbers are very limited (500 I think) but check with Scott (for he is PORTAL) for availability. People say the track - an instrumental btw - has a very Eno/Fripp type feel. I am very pleased with how it came out and even though there's precious little of the original left it was still very much the building block and inspiration for what I ended up with. It was a pleasure to record and mix and I learned a hell of a lot from the experience.You see what blind panic can acheive! Seriously here's hoping I might get a bit more work out of it... An official WW release is imminent too - watch this space - either a 5 or 6 track EP... hopefully it'll be worth the wait. More news soon. Just in from Scott: "They're all gone! Roisin have sold out and I think Cargo (distributors) are all but out of them too - it's been the fastest selling 7" I've done, so it must be the Wavewalker magic on there!" |
