So now I'm properly on my own though I still have a couple of other musical projects on the go - most notably with AINDREAS O GRUAMA (ex-guitarist with the very wonderful Fatima Mansions / current ARTHOG supremo) for TV and film soundtrack commissions. I have high hopes for this project.... I also have another sometime instrumental / dance music venture - THE JIMMY SAVILLE TERRITORIAL ARMY - (with sometime collaborators PATRICK MORSMAN and ADAM FOX) ... I've also been doing my solo acoustic troubadour thing... I like it a lot as it turns out even though the first few times were totally and utterly terrifying... Currently I'm performing monthly at the EJC "Acoustic Heaven" night in London with Ciaran McLaughlin - (another ex-Petrol and the most underrated and finest songwriter in the whole wide world). If you're in the vicinity of the Blue Posts on Newman St London W1 of a Thursday WHY AREN'T YOU COMING TO SEE US? - and HEY! BRING YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILY/NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH GROUP ALONG TOO !!!

For a while now I've even been selling a 7 song demo - (recorded with WW MK 1) - thru Espen Esmark's TPE website - (thanks for keeping the faith my man!). I am particularly endebted and thankful to Damian (not forgetting Brendan of course) for all the hours of hard work he dedicated to these particular tunes.They will hopefully be properly released one day in the very near future... (Damian continues of course to make great music to this day under his own name and should have another record out very shortly.) The overwelming response to the demos has been wonderfully positive/ positively wonderful... the answer to the question "do you want to hear more of this stuff?" is definitely YES ! NOW GET INTO THE STUDIO AND RECORD SOME MORE AND STOP FANNYING AROUND !.. ...and y'know what..? I think I just might... I'm well aware that the clock is seriously starting to tick down... bit I have a LOT of material stockpiled... right now Grummo is starting to kick my butt into action... a 4-track cd is DEFINITELY on the cards before the end of the year... watch this space...
